Sungate Medical Group is Re-Opened

Update June 7, 2020:

Dr. Hunter, in accordance with CDC and local authorities, has resumed non-urgent office visits and procedures.

Due to the shutdown over 6-7 weeks, we have a back log of patients that need to be seen and we are working around the clock to safely reschedule and appropriately triage patients in order to provide the best care possible for our patients. The changes in protocols, that we have set in place to maintain safety for both our patients and our staff, has decreased the volume of patients we are able to see on a daily basis, but we are working to get everyone in for their needed eye care as soon as possible. We are confident that our screening and proper hygiene protocols will provide the highest level of comfort and safety for patients and staff.

All patients and staff are to

- be screened before entering the facility

- wear masks at all times

- every room and testing equipment will be sanitized before and after each patient

Our doctors and staff want you to know that we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. Everyone please be safe, and we look forward to seeing you in the near future.
